UAEJJF WORLD RANK  -  Best of the Season



These points are added together to create the UAEJJF World Rankings for Youth, Professionals, Masters and ParaJiu-Jitsu.


BEST OF CONTINENT / Travel packages

The top Continental Rank fighters of UAEJJF will win seats (Travel Packages) to Abu Dhabi World Pro


Maximum of 2 fighters per country for each awarded division according the Continent Quota.

Example: If there are 4 fighters from the same country in the Continental Black Belt Rank, only the top 2 fighters from the same country will be invited (2 fighters will be disregard), followed by the next top 2 fighter from different countries.

At the end of the year season, the male and female fighters at the top of the Rankings will become the Best of the Season Champions with cash prizes


* Prizes awarded at ABU DHABI WORLD AWARDS according to the UAEJJF World Rank from May 1, 2018 to April 30, 2019.

The year-end UAEJJF Ranking is based on calculating, the total points for each player of the ranking period:

  • One (1) Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship
  • Five (5) Abu Dhabi Grand Slams Tour
  • Six (6) Continental Pro Championships
  • Twenty five (25) National Pro Championships
  • Twenty five (25) International Pro Championships
  • Five (5) Regional Championship



1. The UAEJJF Ranking is the mathematical method of ranking men and women on a calendar-year basis.

2. The UAEJJF Ranking is the objective merit-based method used for determining qualification for fighters' entries and seeding in all championships.

3. The UAEJJF Ranking are run approximately 65~70 times per year (only GI championships). *NO GI championships counts points for World NO GI Ranking.

4. Every fighter who has earned UAEJJF Ranking points in an eligible UAEJJF professional or regional championship during the entry ranking period is included in the UAEJJF Rankings.

5. Fighters may not change team academy during the season, due the Academy Ranking System.



  • Fighters alone in a bracket will be moved for an upper divisions.
    • Exception where points will be given: Grand Slam, Continental Pro, National Pro and International Pro Championships points will be given (starting 2017).
      • in case where divisions can be merged such Female 90kilos or Male 110Kilos, the points will be credited.
      • in case where there is a non showed up or a disqualification after the brackets are generated, where the fighter have no matches, the points will be credited.
  • Divisions with 2 (two) players will run normally, Fighters won't be moved to next division.
  • Points from UAE National Championships such Ramadan Cup, Al Shaheed, Mother of Nation, Challenge, Abu Dhabi World Festival (kids, adult, parajiu-jitsu) will not be credited for Best International Players Rank (Professional) or Best International Academy Rank, points will be credited only for UAE National Rank.
  • Points from Abu Dhabi World Youth will be counted only for players, points for Club will not be credited.
  • Cases where belts divisions are merged, the points will be credited according to the current fighter's belt.
  • Only fighters above the weight registered will be placed on next division.
  • Ranking points will not be transferred from one belt rank to the next one.
  • Raking points will not be transferred from one age division to another.
  • If a fighter changes nationality during Season Qualification period he/she loses all points in the UAEJJF World Rank and has to start with 0.
